Security
Hoffmann Bird Club uses appropriate security measures to protect against loss or misuse of personal information collected in person and online. Any personal information is distributed only among club leadership with legitimate rationale.
Hoffmann Bird Club never stores credit card information. All credit transactions (dues, donations, and others) are transmitted over the Internet using a third-party processing company. This company uses industry-standard SSL encryption, complies with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) and the Payment Application Data Security Standard (PA-DSS), and does not use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes.
